Who We Are ...
Beverly Voss, Allied ASID, Owner
When it comes to being an interior designer, it's important to possess both natural talent and professional expertise. For 25 years, Beverly Voss has brought her unique sensitivity and strengths to each and every project she's accepted. Her philosophy centers on enhancing your lifestyle, not just meeting its basic requirements. So, she pays close attention to discovering your special needs, tastes and preferences, resulting in a highly personalized service approach and a final product that's customized to you.
Beverly studied architecture from the University of Miami and pursued additional studies at London's British Fine Arts Academy. A big proponent of continuing education and the value of professional organizations, she jumped at the opportunity to become one of Florida's first licensed interior designers, earning her license through the State Board of Architecture and Design in 1990. (Colorado does not currently license for interior design.) Beverly is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), and participates in the Colorado Chapter. In addition, Beverly has taken classes offered through the American Disability Act (ADA) on standards in design and has worked on projects with ADA requirements. She's also acquired education on sustainable design and incorporates those elements upon request.
When she's "off the clock," Beverly is likely to be traveling to the industry's International Furniture Markets or poking around the fabulous local art shows. She enjoys traveling and exploring Colorado's glorious outdoors with Bob, her husband and business partner. The two love to ski, hike and partake in all that Summit County has to offer.
Robert Voss, C.P.A., Owner
"Bob" Voss holds his bachelor's degree in accounting from Florida State University and has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. With this strong financial and professional background, he oversees the business logistics at Design One Interiors and serves as the company manager. Using his extensive experience as a financial advisor and consultant, he ensures that Design One Interiors complies with the high business standards and financial integrity required in today's competitive interior design industry.
Bob also oversees other key elements of the business such as personnel, internships, technology and community involvement. A small-business advocate — and one who believes in "giving back" to the community — Bob strives to keep Design One Interiors involved in local organizations, causes and activities. In addition to Beverly being a proactive member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), Design One Interiors belongs to the Summit Independent Business Alliance, Breckenridge Resort Chamber and Summit County Builders Association.
